Recovering Old Dining Chairs

I am the keeper of my Grandparents Dining Room Set.  I have had the set since my wonderful Grandma pasted away.  It makes me think of her often and the happy childhood memories spent in her home.

This is the second time we have recovered these chairs.  The first time was soon after the set entered our home.  And now, over 25 years later, my husband and I tackled the job of reupholstering the six dining chairs.  Here are a few pictures of the new chairs . . .

This is the old - purchased in the late 80's I'm guessing.

This is the new upholstery we have chosen.

I love the dark colors, it makes the wood look richer.
