It sure felt like it on Saturday! We heard the early morning call from
our Harley, and were so very excited to comply. We are still searching for
that special home, so we had a list of places to drive by. Beautiful blue
skies and the big yellow sun made for a perfect day of riding.
Wouldn't you know it, Kentucky might just have more old abandoned barns
scattered throughout the countryside than Tennessee. How exciting for me
to be able to add to my collection.
The lakes, rivers and streams are once again full from all the rain we
have had lately. I just love a babbling brook!
We stopped in Princeton at a gas station that sells BBQ, which is made
next door. Heaton's BBQ is the name. We bought our BBQ and headed
Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park is an 850+ acre park of
rolling hills, trees, lakes and park ammenities. We stopped and
asked a ranger for a great place to picnic, he had the perfect
suggestion!

Thank you for sharing your photos with us. This area is so beautiful and I cannot tell you how badly I want to photograph it myself. Even to have a picnic there like you describe would be so much fun. If I ever make it over there, you'll have to give me a head's up on the places to see. Amazing!
