No More Vertical Blinds

As I continue to make our house a home of our taste, we have taken another big step on the decorating ladder.  Our house came with vertical blinds on each of the windows . . . NOT my favorite choice for window coverings.

I ran across the curtains and valance at a local Lowes store and they reminded me of my Mother, I also could see my red and beige in the mix of flowers and vines.  The bamboo blinds in the dining room were ordered online - all I had was a small picture to go by.  I love them!  They are light and dark bamboo and the best part, they are cordless!  Since the living/dining area is one big room, I have tied it all together by using the same valance for both windows.

And lastly, my music room.  I have a very eclectic personality, I love whimsical and fun items.  I will always choose the item that looks like it has a story to tell.  Bright colors make me smile.  Well, my music room is where my personality is most displayed.  And the bamboo blind I chose for this room is in that order.  The blind is Van Gogh's Sunflowers and it looks awesome.

Below are a few pictures of my choices - what do you think?
