Have you ever started a project with no vision of what the end result will be? Have you worked on a piece without knowing the plan or the end result? Given one step at a time? Having faith that the person giving you each step will lead you to a rewarding end?
Recently, I participated in such a class, which was called a Mystery Quilt. I was only given the instruction to buy a light, a medium and a dark material. We then spent two days, as a group, working on our own 'Mystery Quilt', one step at a time. And the result was the following:
This is a lap size quilt and I will be quilting it myself with my sewing machine.
