I don't know about you, but, I'm ready for Spring! I need some color in my world, trees budding, flowers blooming, sun shinning. Here in Western Kentucky, during the winter months, the landscape changes dramatically.
The fences people have grown to hide in, have lost their lush thick leaves. This leaves a very different view from the road. We can now see behind the walls, we can see through the fences of nature.
The colors are different now. Instead of the beautiful bright hues of yellows, red, orange and green. We have the browns, beige and creams of cold weather.
So, here are some pictures of Spring to come. I hope it helps to ease the next few weeks until Spring arrives once again to Western Kentucky.

Flowers in Abundance
We have had quite a lot of rain here in Western Kentucky. Look what it has done for my flowers!
Gladys the Frog still adorns our front walk.
This cart is new to my collection of outdoor decorations.
I have made this little oasis on the side of the house. Not yet completed.
Found this bird house combination at a garage sale.
Another idea found online.
That is an update for early June 2014. My beautiful roses are fighting for their life from some type of bug. And I will include my garden in my next post. Hope your garden is growing as well as mine!
